Growing up in a small town, I always dreamed of exploring the world. Though I didn’t travel often, I had family living adventurous lives abroad, which inspired me to move to London to pursue a journalism degree. That decision sparked a journey that has taken me to over 40 countries and led to writing for top publications like Condé Nast Traveler and Travel Oregon.

Today, I speak at conferences like Public Relations Society of America and National Association of Black Journalists on social media strategy and content creation, and I mentor high school students interested in journalism. I’m deeply passionate about the path I’ve taken and grateful for the opportunities it’s brought. My goal is to continue inspiring others to live a life that might be different than they imagined and to be a voice that is both valued and heard.
